After leaving the doctor, Anthony Bergdorf is stopped by Roger Corneal driving in a car. When Anthony decides to join in on the caper, he abruptly reaches to open the car door. The car door lock is down (locked). There is a cut, and in the following scene, the door is swinging open.
For comparison, the door lock on the driver's side is visible, clearly in the up (unlocked) position.
