The captain orders Mark 46 torpedoes loaded on the USS Wayne. But the Mark 46 is an 12.75 inch (diameter) air or ship-launched torpedo, and thus would not fit in the 21 inch torpedo tubes on the Wayne. The Wayne would've most likely been armed with Mark 48 or Mark 37 torpedoes.
