(at around 13 mins) When Hagrid bends the end of Vernon's shotgun into the Dursleys' island cabin, Vernon shoots a bullet, which flies through the end-hole of the barrel. In fact, a real bullet cannot change its straight-line trajectory within a bent barrel and it would have exploded the barrel itself.
