When Morrie and Ray are shown talking while James is watching Morrie's commercials, there is a shot from behind Morrie. He is holding the phone handset in his right hand. In the same sentence, the camera cuts to Morrie's front and the handset jumps to his left hand, with the right hand gesturing. This jump occurs again, in reverse, when the shot switches to over Morrie's shoulder again, and again when the camera shows him from the front.
