After Ilsa takes the USB from Benji, both he and Ethan spend the next 10-20 minutes (and at great peril) chasing after her, presumably so that Ethan can retrieve the memory stick.Later Benji mentions he has a backup of the data, something which, if he had mentioned it earlier, would have made the whole chase unnecessary.
