(at around 1h 14 mins) Gale tells Kenny "I'll be right back," but survives the trilogy. We are specifically told that any character who uses this line will be killed. However, the idea of the Scream series was to break the rules and clichés of slasher films, which is what it achieved with her surviving despite breaking one of the rules.
