At 00:35:40 in a medium close-up Dr. Marvin stops to look at a flying saucer sitting further down a beach. He then starts walking towards the camera and suddenly passes through an area where some unseen objects block the light hitting his face. However, when it cuts to an extreme long shot of the beach, the sand surrounding the doctor is empty. There is nothing near the doctor that could have cast the shadows.
