Right after Ann screams, the T Rex advances towards her. As it does this, the glass painting obscures and blurs the creature in an awkward way. There is a brief cut away to Kong. When the shot returns to Ann in the tree, the obscuring glass painting has vanished and the jungle is not so immediately claustrophobic.
