At the end of the movie Sato cuts the small finger of his left hand off and this bloodied hand, wrapped in a handkerchief, is displayed by him during his fight with Conklin. At one point during their fight Sato has his right arm around Conklin's neck and his right hand has the finger missing. Obviously they had flipped this shot.
