During her escape from the mental hospital Sarah breaks Dr. Silberman's arm. She then helps him hold it in an upright position to alleviate the excruciating pain. However just minutes later when Sarah is caught by the orderlies moments before both Terminators and John arrive, Dr. Silberman arm is simply hanging free by his side without a sling or other means of supporting his broken arm. Shock at seeing the Terminators might explain the very end of that scene but not the beginning before the Terminators arrived.
