At the landfill, John Berlin (Andy Garcia) tells his co-worker he's going to leave and sets off. Then his colleague Freddy Ross (Lance Henriksen) asks him something about the murder weapon, a knife. John Berlin replies, but unexpectedly he sits again, back in his previous position, as if he never started to set off. This confusing picture error obviously crept in during the editing process.
