Hats are not worn on the flightline due to the risk of FOD (Foreign Object Damage) to engines. None of the actual airmen working on craft are wearing hats or loose objects (watches, necklaces, etc). The personnel wearing hats appear to be the actors. They are the correct unit hats, but should not be worn there.
