*Spoilers*
After Wendy kills the camper she takes a shower to remove the blood. The sheriff comes in and Paul tries to hide her hat which has blood on it. He spills coffee on the sheriff and uses the hat to clean up the coffee and throws it in a cabinet. A couple of scenes later they go out on the lake with the other couple and she is wearing the same hat with no blood stains on it.
