During the flight to America, Johnny is wearing a herringbone tweed suit. When the plane is attacked and he and the others begin moving to the tail of the plane, he is not wearing the jacket nor is he carrying it as they cling to the wing awaiting rescue. In the next scene when the captain of the rescue ship interrupts Johnny's phone call to the states, Johnny is again wearing his same tweed jacket, which was left in the sinking plane.
