The Pope Secretary is never a Camerlengo. Pope John Paul II's secretary Father Stanislaw Dziwisz wasn't but it was Cardinal Eduardo Martinez Somalo at the time of the latest conclave. Now the current Cardinal Camerlengo is Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone and the secretary of Pope Benedict XVI, Father Georg Gaenswein has of course nothing to do with this title.
