The hearse used by the Three Blind Mice after they shoot Strangways' secretary and to chase Bond on his way to Miss Taro's house is a 1939 LaSalle, which is also used in the rear-projection shots for the car chase. The vehicle which goes over the cliff, however, is a 1941 LaSalle. You can tell them apart easily as the 1941 model (the hearse that goes over the cliff) has headlamps mounted flush with its fenders, at the extremities of its wings, while the 1939 LaSalle's headlights are the earlier torpedo shaped style, mounted much closer to the radiator grille/hood.
