While the Japanese children are waiting to enter the Tokyo candy store, all of the text on the Wonka bars is written in traditional hiragana. However, when the children enter the store, some Wonka bars are seen with the logo now written in English. These bars still retain the flavor and Golden Ticket contest announcement written in hiragana, though.
