Almost all of the clergy were extremely confused about their vestments. St. Patrick's Day always occurs during the liturgical season of Lent, but the Monsignor wore a white chasuble, which is the proper color of the Easter season, instead of violet or purple. Fr. Macklepenny's stole should have been the same color as his chasuble, not green (the color of the liturgical season Ordinary Time), and it should have been worn under his chasuble, not over it. Others forgot to wear a stole altogether over their albs or surplices. The only one who got it right is the priest who sits next to Fr. Macklepenny.
