When the spell Kalabar uses is describe they say it works on humans to make them into the creature they insult. However, the spell still affects Gwen (who is a witch) but not the kids.CORRECTION: Despite her already being a witch, she was wearing a Halloween mask which caused the spell to work on her. it didn't work on Dylan or Sophie because they weren't wearing costumes that would have been effected by the creature spell. Similar to another mistake on here, there were several other humans at the dance that the spell didn't work on due to the type of costume they were wearing.
