When the group is being chased by the Reapers through "The Palms", the bikes change from actual sport bikes, to "SuperMoto" bikes dressed up to resemble the sport bikes. A Supermoto bike is essentially a dirt bike, usually 4 stroke, with street bike rims and tires, that usually race on tracks made mostly of asphalt. This would have been done to allow the bikes to be jumped in the several scenes, something which could not have been done with regular sport bikes.
