After Todd shouts at the dog he is leaning on his left hand and about to drink from the carton of milk in his right hand. He gets stabbed just off camera by the T-1000 disguised as John's foster mom Janelle. When he is shown dead, after the phone call ends, it is his left hand that drops from grasping the milk carton not his right hand.
