It is humorously alleged several times Papelo Papelo is committing benefit fraud. However, Papelo is a single father so presumably receiving the Domestic Purposes Benefit. His work as a fork-hoist driver is only sporadically referred to, so presumably, it is not regular, full-time employment so would not be enough to consistently reduce his benefit to zero. Therefore, it seems there is in fact, nothing untoward about his benefit receipt.
