Petty Officer Jones rank insignia is missing his rating badge, in the Navy non-commissioned officer's rating badge is located between the eagle and the chevrons on their upper arm patch. Jones is a Sonar Technician, 2nd class so the rank insignia on his sleeve would have a pair of cans (headphones) below an arrow and in between his eagle and two chevrons.
