Though Nomi and Bond leave about the same time to travel from Jamaica to Santiago, via sea-plane and sailing yacht respectively, with the light plane seen flying over the sail boat during the journeys, both are seen arriving in Cuba at the same time, despite the fact that traveling via plane is far quicker than traveling by boat.
