When they arrive at the German trenches Blake and Schofield spend a little time exploring the place rather than remembering they are on a mission to deliver an important message to another battalion. Plus the two heroes while inside a German bunker don't act cautiously such as being wary of any possible booby traps other than the trip wire set off by a rat.
