At one point on first arriving to the mansion, one of the soldiers is mockingly called "Lord Fauntleroy" for his pretentious lifestyle. This is a reference to the children's novel "Little Lord Fauntleroy". However, as the protagonist of the books is, quite the contrary, against adopting the pretentious lifestyle of an aristocrat, the comparison does not make sense.
