(at around 42 min) The 1950s-era record changer is shown "playing" a 1930s-era 78 rpm disc, but rotating at only 33-1/3 or 45 rpm. The 33-1/3 LP was first produced by Columbia in 1948, and the 45, a speed developed for use with a 7-inch vinyl disc format, was introduced the following year by RCA-Victor.
