As the 7 leaves town you get a camera shot of the legs and each horse's belly going from left to right. In the background is an English football. The scene is 1877. The English Football League was formed in 1888. The ball is a 32-panel ball not introduced until the late 1960's. Prior to that was the 18-panel ball which looks like a modern day volleyball.
