At the end when she miraculously gets on the boat, she goes directly downstairs to her son. She then realizes that she has left someone in the water and goes back on deck and yells his name. With no reply she just jumps back in the water without putting the ladder back down. Then it cuts to the next day, and she is back on the boat dressed with her son.
