When Sully maneuvers his helicopter through the canyon and then suddenly "flies over" the other helicopter trying to block his path, he puts both hands on the stick and desperately pulls up. This is incorrect as helicopters have a "Collective Control" which looks like an automobile emergency brake handle on the side. Moving this "e-brake" side handle up or down increases or decreases the helicopter's ascent and descent, respectively.
