It makes no sense why neither Obi-Wan, nor Yoda taught Luke how to deflect Force Lightning, a signature attack move of the Emperor. Especially as both are later revealed to know how to do it. Both characters only knew Luke for a short time; it's even a major plot point in L'Impero colpisce ancora that he rushes off to face Vader without finishing his training. He'd have a lot of training to complete prior to learning more advanced skills like that, anyhow.
