At 1:04:44 Billy Ford runs away from a gate keeping he and Cherise in the tunnel where the magma is being directed at them.
At the time noted, the lock can clearly be seen to NOT be locked, but is instead only hanging on a link of the chain.
Less than ten seconds later, when Ford kicks the gate again, the lock is entirely gone.
