Around 0:11, Dr. John Clancy (Anthony Hopkins) is listening to an opera inside his home. There are several camera shots that show the window curtains partially open and it is obviously daylight outside, not even close to darkness. While listening to the same movement of the opera, a particular line in it is being sung. Dr. Clancy immediately walks outside. The song has not missed a beat, but it is now pitch dark outside, where Clancy has a long, well-lit footpath down to a large pond (or lake).
