(at around 1h 35 mins) When Major Mitchell is asked to shoot the Coke can from the alien aircraft, he asks the Sgt for his side arm (gun) but in the earlier scene where they shoot the alien through the glass Major Mitchell is wearing his own gun on his right hip.
