In the scene where Tiffany, Mark, Chris and Tiffany's mother are arguing about her going to South Korea her mother says she will end up like the journalists that Bill Clinton had got released. Clinton negotiated the release for those journalists in 2009 a year after Tiffany went to Korea to get her son back.
