When Walter first enters the hut, he grabs a can and opens it and the opened lid is pointed at his left hand (at about 14:45 into the movie). Then Frank speaks over the radio, Walter spins to look at the radio and the lid is not as open as it was and it is pointed at Walter's right hand.
