When Tavington and Cornwallis are discussing using "brutal" tactics, Tavington requests "Ohio" as payment. Ohio was not a specific area until it was named as Ohio County of the Northwest Territory in the 1790s or so. Before that, it was simply part of the Iriquois Nation which was claimed by the British Empire.
