Loki, when trying to deceive Thanos, calls himself both Prince of Asgard, and rightful king of Jotunheim. These two titles rule each other out, as he would either be prince of Asgard, as son of Odin, or rightful king of Jotunheim, as son of Laufey. He can't be both, as he can't call both of them his father.
