When Malcolm goes on his hajj, he supposedly lands in Saudi Arabia, which is where Mecca is located. However, he takes a side trip to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx which are in Egypt, with no indication of separate travel back and forth other than camels. The distance between Mecca and Giza is roughly 800 miles.
