At the border crossing scene, when Alejandro is trying to defuse or scale down the situation, he says "compas" to the bad guys and that was shown in the subtitles as "con paz" ("with peace"). In the north part of Mexico, "compas" is short of "compadres", and more probable expression to try to calm down those bad guys.
