Even the reactor melted ice and released Oxygen, humans and other activities on Mars will consume that oxygen. There are no trees or any natural or artificial mechanism on the the Mars to generate further oxygen or to convert CO2 to Oxygen. This entire ice-melted Oxygen will be consumed sooner or later and earlier Oxygen-less Mars scenario will come back.
