When is threatening Chien Wang with a gun, the slide is forward. He pulls the trigger, and hears a "Click" indicating either a misfire or the clip is empty. The next shot shows the slide locked back on an empty clip.No semi-automatic gun works this way. The slide is moved by the concussion of the round going off. It locks back when the clip in the magazine is empty. So, it either would've locked back when the previous round was fired, or it wouldn't have moved when the misfire happened and the round didn't go off. Pulling the trigger is not what moves the slide backward.
