A helicopter requires total concentration of the pilot on the controls. While they do have "autopilots" these primarily work in level flying conditions, not for aerobatics. The system would maintain the level flight operation of the craft.When Bond attacks the pilot, the craft would have crashed as several times during the flight the pilot releases the flight control levers. This is especially during the climbing portions of the flight.
