During the opening urban battle, a North Korean soldier armed with what appears to be a rocket launcher uses it to knock out a South Korean machine gun nest. The projectile launched leaves a white smoke trail as it darts across to its target. However, the weapon is really an M18 57mm recoilless rifle, more of a small artillery piece, firing a shell, not a rocket, that does not leave a smoke trail behind it. It is also extremely unlikely that a North Korean would be using one; M18s were never used by the North Koreans in the Korean War, or at the very least in 1950. The M18 used in the film is also clearly deactivated, as it lacks a breech at the rear of the weapon.
