Host Richard Kohler makes many technical mistakes throughout the film. One is that British battleships did not "bomb" the Dardanelles. They shelled it. Bombs are places, hurled, or dropped from the air. Another is that the battleships that were torpedoed around the time of the sinking of the Britannic did not have "cannons" but rifled naval guns.
