Baker and Duke are sitting in the local bar at a cocktail table, and you see Baker taking one final swig finishing his glass of whiskey, as Duke exits the bar, Baker remains seated and somehow whiskey has made it back into the glass for him to take another final swig before the scene ends. However, when Baker takes the extra "swig" as Duke is leaving bar, it is from Duke's glass. When Baker finishes this last drink, he puts the glass down next to his own empty glass. As a heavy drinker, he wouldn't let "leftover" booze go to waste.
