When Maximus is walking in the street under guard with other gladiators to the Coliseum in preparation for their first fight, one of the street women trying to kiss Maximus grabs his armor while being pulled away by a guard. She easily bends the wing of one of the raised, embossed griffins on the front of the armor, bending it forward, revealing it to be movie prop armor.
