The final scene with Jack hitchhiking has rows of green stalks seen on both sides of the road. Corn stalks would be brown or harvested after Halloween, but these are sugar cane which remain green through harvest, and the scene is set in south Louisiana.This is not corn in this scene. This is sugar cane, which stays green through harvest. Harvest can last well into December. Scene was shot in Louisiana.
