Dr. Louis Flellis claims that Dr. Gross had went insane and committed suicide after witnessing the many faces of death. However in the previous installment The Worst Of Faces Of Death Dr. Flellis says that Dr. Gross died under his own knife in a simple surgical procedure gone wrong.
