When Hitler sees a Turkish newspaper, he says: "The Ottoman Empire managed to turn the war. I wouldn't have expected such a feat from the Turks!"
However, the Ottoman Empire had already collapsed after losing WWI, being replaced by the Republic of Turkey in 1923, who did not even take part in WWII.
